Leisure Overseas Travel Health Insurance policies are made available to persons in the 0-80 age group. An additional premium of 50% is charged for insured persons in the 66-75 age bracket, whereas insured persons in the 76-80 age bracket pay an additional premium of 100% to receive coverage under the policy.

The insurance coverage commences on the start date and lasts until the end date, both of which are stipulated on the policy. The insurance terminates automatically on the end date. At the time of policy issuance, the coverage shall take effect with the payment of the full premium figure from the start date onwards; the coverage shall commence upon its entry through the customs of the destination country in the applicable regions specified on the insurance policy. The coverage under the plan chosen in the policy shall remain in effect until the date of entry through Turkish customs. Should the travel term exceed the coverage term as chosen in the policy, before entry through Turkish customs the coverage shall be discontinued as of the end of the last day of the coverage term.
In the event of policies that stipulate a coverage term per each travel, the coverage shall commence anew in case of repeated travel to countries in the applicable regions as specified, during the term in which the policy remains valid, and the applicable coverage shall expire only at the end of the last day of its coverage term. Long-term policies apply for travel extending up to 90 consecutive days at most.

Visa Travel Health Insurance shall cover the term specified on the policy from the policy commencement date onwards and expire automatically at the end of the term. At the time of policy issuance, the coverage shall take effect with the payment of the full premium figure from the start date onwards; the coverage shall commence upon its entry through the customs of the destination country in the applicable regions specified on the insurance policy. The coverage under the plan chosen in the policy shall remain in effect until the date of entry through Turkish customs. Should the travel term exceed the coverage term as chosen in the policy, before entry through Turkish customs the coverage shall be discontinued as of the end of the last day of the coverage term.
In case of policies stipulating a term of coverage per each trip, coverage shall apply anew in case of repeated travel to the countries in the applicable regions specified on the insurance policy during the term in which the policy remains in effect, after entry through Turkish customs and once the prior travel has been concluded; such renewed coverage shall expire at the end of the last day of the applicable coverage term.
